Wedding Timeline

Contract

Sign and return the original contract with your retainer to the studio. Keep a copy for yourself in a safe place so that you can refer to this important document for the contents of your wedding photography package.

Retainer

$1000   At this point you don’t have to lock in a collection or ala-carte coverage option yet.   You’re just locking the day in.  You’ve got until the final payment is due to save up for and decide on your choices.

8-16 weeks before your wedding – engagement session

Your engagement session should be completed at least sixty days before your wedding date. Engagement portraits for display at wedding and reception should be ordered through the studio (not online). Our museum line is mounted on masonite or foam-core and is perfect for display on easels. Please allow a minimum of fourteen business days to fulfill your engagement portrait order. All other print orders are conducted online through Pictage.

7 weeks prior to your wedding order your engagement album

Engagement albums are custom made. Your custom album can ranges in size from 20 to 50 images, with signing pages for your guests.

30 days prior to your wedding day

Your balance is due. At this point you must select either your collection or ala-carte coverage options.

2 weeks before your wedding day – final consultation

About 2 weeks before your wedding day, we will meet at the studio for thirty minutes. The purpose of this meeting is to review your photography schedule and to make sure adequate time is allowed for everything.

shortly after your wedding we’ll post some of your wedding images to our blog-site

Seeing your wedding images on the blog and with a small slideshow will instantly take you right back to the day.  You are welcome to save any images from the blog for reposting and email.

online galleries – about 2-4 weeks after the wedding

You will receive an email letting you know we’ve released the images on Pictage. Now you can review the images and mark any as private before releasing the images to friends and family. It is here that you will be able to view all you online digital proofs. Your web site has a 24/7 kiosk with real time credit card processing. All print orders will be placed on line. If your wedding package includes a proof book, it will arrive shortly in the mail.

your album(s)

We carry several different types of albums. Some require design and approval and others do not. Album design typically takes 3-4 weeks from the date of your submission. If your album needs design and approval, you will receive an email with instructions. At this point you will have about 3 weeks to make any changes that you’d like. Once your final approval is given your album will be printed and bound. This final process takes approximately three months.

To place and order for you album 1/2 of the balance for the order must be paid at time of order.  The remaining balance is due upon delivery.

You will be notified as soon as we receive your album. You can chose two methods for delivery. 1. Pick up at the studio. 2. USPS insured, signature acceptance, delivery, charged to your account.
