But think of it this way. You are able to spends days making 20 low quality backlinks on PR 1 sites, or you could spend these same days creating 1 quality backlink on a PR 5 website. You invest the exact same amount of time, but the PR 5 backlink is worth a good deal more then the 20 PR 1 backlinks.

I think all three of you have valid points and I do agree with all three. Thanks to all of you for putting it out there, it helps that you guys are willing to share this information with everyone. It isn’t easy and it does take time but it helps to have people who have good information and a proven system. Thanks guys!

I don’t think I’ve ever dropped names before in a blog and have both of them swing by and leave comments before, and I think they both make their points.

Some people have more financial resources than they have time. If you’re running a busy business you might not have time to research, test results, refine, etc.

Some people don’t have a lot of spare change but they’ve got plenty of spare time on their hands. There’s a wealth of information out there just waiting to be digested, it might not get you all the answers but it will get you a huge head start.

Eric’s answer is the perfect choice for some, Lawrence’s is the perfect fit for others. What’s great is that with something as important as this is in business today is that there is more than a single choice. There are options.

Spot on about this, buddy! There is no magic bullet and it does take time.

You’re also right about information being available online! Theoretically, I can study to be a brain surgeon online, but I’d rather pay to learn from a true professional (someone with proven results).

I would pay to learn from J.Claire or J* even though I take pretty rockin’ images. That’s just my perspective

Hey Mark,
Thanks for the props…I’m looking forward to hearing if you are right on the $2k workshop…my feelings exactly. While there is TONS more to know and apply with SEO (and your blog in general…SEO gets your visitors to your site, what happens next is a whole ‘nother story) There is only so much we have time to apply and use.
