Well 2010 got off to an amazing start for a simple Colorado wedding photographer like myself with a wonderful wedding on the 2nd of January. It was cold but warmed a bit from the sub zero temps just days before and the skies where clear.
Assisting me on this one was Dain of Photography by Dain. We have a lot of weddings booked together this year and it was a great way to hit the ground running this year for us as a regular team.
Marianne and Daniel had a beautiful ceremony at the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Denver right next to city park.
In order to make the days schedule flow smoother and handle the family photos before the ceremony Marianne and Daniel decided to see each other before the ceremony – so we setup a “first look” moment for them once they where dressed and ready. This is just a great moment for the couple to savor the moment together of seeing each other for the first time that day.
And of course we had to do some photos with those amazing stained glass windows.
Then is was time for guests and a wonderful ceremony.
After the couple sped away in their limo we met up with them at their reception, but that will be another post later today.
Until next time,
