One of the wonderful things about being a Colorado wedding photographer is that even in the midst of winter there are wonderful venues to use for weddings and wedding receptions. The Oxford Hotel is one of the finest of these venues in downtown Denver. One of the things that struck me the most was the non-stop effort by Erin, the events manager over at the Oxford, to take care of Marianne and Daniel.
Of course the lobby was still decorated for the holidays so we had to play a bit with that.
The staff at The Oxford did a wonderful job on the reception room.
The cake was wonderful – once Marianne and Daniel get back from their honeymoon I’ll update this with the cake artist.
and of course no reception is complete without some humorous toasts by loved ones.
Of course one of my favorite parts of any reception is the first dance, for me it just is so romantic and filled with emotion.
and of course just general partying.
Marianne and Daniel, it was such an honor to have your wedding for our first of 2010.
