Recently I had the opportunity to help teach a local workshop through MHP – Mile High Photographers. The workshop was built around using various lighting in different types of photo shoots. I had the pleasure of teaching High School Seniors lighting setups using a simple two light studio strobe setup and an in studio set.
Mile High Photographers is a group of photographers in the Denver area who strive to create a great network of gifted, talented and caring professionals working together for the gain of each individual and his/hers respective business. Denver is a wonderful city for professional photographers who believe in networking and this is just one of the many groups in town focused on building the local industry through by working together in a cooperative environment.
A few shots from my portion of the workshop.
And a quick shout out to some of the other people who made this workshop possible.
The MHP organizers:
My fellow instructors
Tanja Butler-Melone of Contemporary Expressions Photography teaching lighting for childrens photography.
Karie McLain – Karie McLain Photography handling boudior.
and my good friend Erin Cady of Art & Soul Photography doing the high key fashion.
Studio space was from North Denver Photography Studio. A wonderful place for any photographer looking to rent out some studio space hourly or on a monthly schedule.
