Twice this year I’ve been fortunate enough to have a groom who is an accomplished photographer in their own right choose me for their wedding photographer. It’s wonderful to have someone “in the know” about photography respect my style and work enough to make me their first choice for their own photographer.
Jason’s photography is quite respectable on it’s own, I love some of the HDR work and the lightning shots are amazing in his portfolio. So when Jason and Cameo first met with me I was truly honors they had chosen me for their wedding photographer. Of course on the down side I think at times Cameo grew tired of our seeming endless gear talk from time to time.
Jason and Cameo couldn’t have asked for a better Colorado summer day for their wedding. A little bit of afternoon cloud cover rolled in to save the groom and groomsman who weren’t looking forward to standing outside in their suits if the sun was out full force.
The Event Center at Church Ranch was a great choice of venue for them consider the amount of friends and family they had on hand.

Both Jason and Cameo had a hand in setting up the days decorations.

The gazebo at The Event Center at Church Ranch made the perfect spot for the couples “first look” once they had changed into their wedding day best.

Of course it’s every photographers instinct to grab a camera when you see a bride walking down the isle, even if you’re the groom and the only camera in reach is the best mans point and shoot.

Jason and Cameo, treasure these memories forever.
