Driving up to Breckenridge on a summer Saturday I found myself more nervous than I’ve been in years heading to a wedding. This was an out of state bride and groom with a destination wedding here in Colorado and we worked out all of the details over the phone and via email. This is also the couple that I was driving up to Breckenridge to meet last February for an impromptu engagement session when the steering wheel came off in my hands on the highway. So even though that car was long gone I was worried that something would go wrong no matter how well planned out the drive was.
But all the worry for for naught and we, myself and Dain Linder of Photography by Dain, arrived in Breckenridge well early and settled into a wonderful day with the clients we’d never yet met.
For my first time shooting a wedding at Sevens in Breckenridge I must say I was impressed not only with the venue and it’s amazing views, but with the staff who was friendly and courteous and the meal was without a doubt one of the best meals I’ve ever had at a wedding.
Ryan and Kristina, it was such a great honor to spend the day with you and document the love and joy we found.
