Ben and Katie – Golden Colorado Wedding

I had been looking forward to Ben and Katie’s wedding since they booked last year.   I just had such a great feeling about this couple from our phone conversations and knew it would be something special, and I was right.

First of all the families and friends of these two are among the warmest and friendliest I’ve ever worked with.  Seldom have I been made to feel more comfortable and a welcome guest at a wedding.

The Calvary Church in Golden was a wonderful place for these two to exchange their vows, small and intimate but oh so photogenic.

Now if you watch the rather long slideshow attached to this post you’ll notice a lot more  video clips than I normally use.  Normally I just shoot a handful of video clips at the reception for the slideshow.  Now the reason for this is Ben and Katie had a videographer lined up, but they never showed.   The fact that a professional in this industry could ever do that (and without a really good excuse no less) just boggles my mind.   So I used the video features of my cameras to grab as many short clips of the ceremony as I could for the couple.
