One nice thing about engagement photos is that it’s easier to take a little bit of extra time to setup and light some shots rather than doing that on your wedding day when there’s so much else to be done other than fine tune a battery pack and studio light.
For this couple they really wanted t shot capturing the distant mountains so with a studio light and battery pack we where able to balance out the exposure to capture not only the background but have them well lit as well.
For photographers is your curious, light was handled by an Alien Bee 1600 powered by a Vagabond battery pack. While I often have this gear with me at weddings, just in case, I use it most often in engagement sessions like this one.
During the next few months of slow time before the wedding season kicks into gear I’m going to be knocking $100 off my normally priced engagement sessions that are booked and scheduled between now and the end of May. If you’re interested just hit the contact button to get in touch.
