It was a wonderful synergy this year having our first wedding of the season be the very first wedding held at Denver’s new History Colorado Center.
My associate Dain and myself split up at the start of the day. I spent the morning with the bride Kelly, her bridesmaids and family in a wonderful loft the family rented for the weekend downtown. The loft was amazing – wonderful old brick walls and soft light and an awesome setup for some wonderful dress shots. Dain caught up with Mark at the hotel downtown Mark had arranged for their wedding night as he got ready.
Then it was off to meet up at the History Colorado Center for the ceremony and reception. As Denver wedding photographers it was a wonderful chance to shoot the very first wedding ceremony in the new museum weeks before it even opens to the public.
Here’s a few early peeks from the day – more and a slideshow should be up early next week.
