It’s been a hectic Friday. Engagement session, downloading fresh scans from the film lab, and getting sucked into the opening of the Olympics. That leaves me racing to get my Friday favorite post up before it becomes Saturday.
This week’s shot is fresh from the lab. From Tom and Amy’s Dunafon Castle wedding a few weeks ago. I’ve been wanting to get a really nice and side scenic from behind the waterfront ceremony site for a while now and on their wedding I had my Mamiya 645 Pro medium format film camera mounted with a 35mm lens. Now camera people who work with digital all the time might not think 35mm is all that wide, but on medium format film cameras that’s a field of view around the equivalent of a 21mm lens. So super wide angle and one a piece of film about 2.6 times the area of 35mm – gotta love that.
