I’ve often said that I really think if the couple can bring an element of their lives together into the engagement session – it just makes it that much better.   Tim is a professional bicycle racer so between working in one of Golden’s best bike shops and Tim and Lauren spending a fair amount of time each summer on the road following the racing circuit it only seemed natural that their engagement photos would be centered around bicycles.

I’ll admit I fell in love with this limited edition Fat Tire Ale bike Lauren won in a drawing a while back.

With as much fun as we had just kicking around downtown Denver I already know their wedding next year is going to be amazing.

Since both Adam and Lisa work for the archdiocese of Chicago and faith is an important part of their lives we used the historic church that is next door to my studio for a fair amount of the session.   Nice thing about having a church for a landlord is being able to get some great stained glass windows shots from time to time.   Then a quick walk around the neighborhood finished off the day.
