Caught up with Ferrin and James a few weeks back up at Red Rocks park for an afternoon of photos. Weather was perfect for photos, of course the fact that these two just love being together makes it pretty easy for a photographer as well.

One of the great things I love about engagement sessions is just the chance to get a feel for the couple. In this case it was obvious not only how much in love these two are, but how much they love to laugh and just enjoy themselves. It’s going to be a wonderful wedding.

As much as I try and keep everything up to date and blogged I noticed I missed blogging quite a few engagement and family sessions (for former wedding clients) this last few months – so in the spirit of spring cleaning May will be the month to catch it all up with.

Sometimes it’s difficult to get those engagement sessions arranged when my clients live out of town, but Whitney and Drew where in town around the holidays at the end of last year so we hit the streets and had a wonderful snow filled day.

So with Beau and Bella and Houser safely tucked away it was time for Melanie to switch over to her wedding gown and get some wonderful and stunning bridal photographs.
