Seems everyone wants their own personal pictures of a wedding these days. The best I’ve seen yet though was an uncle using an iPad to take pictures and video at a wedding. Until next time, Mark

While my blog is a great way for someone looking for a photographer for their Colorado wedding to find out a bit more about me I find it’s also a great way for me to share information about some of my favorite vendors and venues to let clients know a little bit about them as…

Earlier this week I had the extreme pleasure to sit down over coffee with Colorado wedding planner Heather, owner of La Dolce Vita Weddings. While much of our talk centered around SEO (something my IT background helps me figure out pretty well it seems) and how simple things let potential clients find us, something virtually…

Mark,
First off, I wanted to send a special thank you(!!) for the blog love you showed me here, however, the pleasure was all mine. I really appreciated the time you took out of your busy day to give me a “free” tutorial about SEO and specifically, things that I could to do to improve the website. As we discussed, identifying the “ideal” client is a very specific and evolving process however one direction that ALL business owners, regardless of industry, need to focus on. I really enjoyed hearing about your business and the journey you have taken to get to where you are at.
I look forward to our continued partnership!
Best,
Heather

I’m going to break the rules a bit here and instead of highlighting a venue I’ve worked in this time I’m looking at a venue I’d love to work in. South Broadway Christian Church, located on the corner of Lincoln and Ellsworth that location will seem familiar to those who have been to my studio….

WOW! GORGEOUS church and what a terrific idea to do for a post. I was pondering what in the world I was going to do in the slow period these next couple of months. This is a terrific idea to keep posts coming. Of course, it wouldn’t mean a thing without truly beautiful photos and that is what you have here
WOW! What an amazing location to shoot in. Just gorgeous!
oh my goodness what a BEAUTIFUL church!!
Mark, thanks for the great comment you left me. Very sweet!
This church is GORGEOUS!
If you ever need a second shooter, I’d love it.
Love the curves and the organ pipes at the alter! A beautiful place for a wedding.
that is one really cool church
I’m having my wedding at South Broadway on November 21, 2009. I haven’t found a photographer yet, and I’m interested in getting more details about the special you’re running (assuming you’re still available that day).
MARK – What beautiful photos of the interior of this place of worship & historic church building!
This past Monday, I attended the memorial service of my little brother there.
I had not been inside the building since the early 1980′s and was very pleased and impressed with the meticulous care that the congregation has shown for this Denver landmark.
The recent renovation of “Ms Kimball”, the magnificent pipe organ, produced very meaningful and beautiful music for the memeorial service.
You may wish to contact the Pastor, to work out arrangements for some of you interior photos to be placed on the church website: www.SouthBroadway.org.
THANK YOU for providing a lasting memory of my little brother’s memorial
Dunafon Castle: Favorite Vendors – Venues My first post under the Favorite Vendors category so let me say something about the favorite vendors category in general. Outstanding weddings aren’t just the result of a single great vendor but rather the meshing of multiple vendors. Venue, catering, floral, music, make up artists, limousine service, wedding planners, and…
